After Sandy: How Vermont Can Help

Vermont experienced almost no damage from Hurricane Sandy but some of our East Coast neighbors have been devastated. For the many Vermonters who want to reciprocate the generosity shown to us after Irene and are wondering where they can direct support, we suggest:

For immediate relief, the American Red Cross remains the leader in on-the-ground emergency response. You can donate to Red Cross disaster response here. Vermont Community Foundation fundholders have the option of making a grant recommendation to the Red Cross through their fund. For those who want to support other recovery efforts, see the information we are sharing below. We will continue to update this page as new information becomes available.
