Short-Term Relief

After Irene, the Community Foundation directed donors interested in providing immediate relief to organizations like the Red Cross, the Vermont Foodbank, and the local Community Action Councils (CACs). These organizations were a critical part of the first line of response. The Community Action Councils will also play an integral role in long-term recovery.
